Steven E. Dulak, 46, a resident of Chicago, IL, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015, in Chicago. He was born August 14, 1968 in Park Ridge, IL to Stanley and Florence Dulak. Steve loved the Cubs and the Blackhawks, but his greatest passion was his love of all animals. He worked for Petco for over 10 years, most recently as a District Manager. Steve is survived by his mother Florence, his siblings Charlotte (Craig) Nielsen and Michele (Papis) Beye, his nephews Eric and Michael Nielsen and Issa Beye, and his numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Stanley Dulak. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake. Edward “Eddie” J. Harrington, 68, a resident of Grayslake, passed away Thursday April 30, 2015 at his home. He was born February 9, 1947 in Chicago to Edward and Marilyn Harrington. Scott Thomas Fleischmann, age 66, a resident of Grayslake, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. He was born July 30, 1948 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Vernon and Virginia (nee Kosick) Fleischmann. Scott was an avid Packer and all-around Wisconsin sports fan. He liked golfing, biking and traveling. Scott was also a spiritual mentor and friend to many. George William Schlung, age 77, of Antioch lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on Monday, April 2, 2014. George was born July 28, 1936 to Jack Schlung and Peggy Molidor. He was raised in Round Lake, IL and attended Allendale. He met the love of his life Carol Johnson. They were married for 49 years and together they had four children: Ron (Lori) Schlung, Tyanna (Jeff) Cannata, Charlene (Jack) Rabey and Denise (Jeff) Greinke. He was blessed with nine grandchildren: Jennifer and Michelle Schlung, Alec, Jake and Paige Cannata, Jaime and Ashley Utter, Nicole Lidstrom and Jakob Greinke and one great-granddaugther, Vanna Lidstrom. George is also survived by his sister, Judy (Ray) Richardson and many nieces and nephews. George was a former resident of Round Lake, Fox Lake, and Hainesville. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Carol. George worked at Spinney Run Farms, Ziegler Construction, General Iron and Lake County Grading Company. He also served many years as Trustee and Police Commissioner for the village of Hainesville and was a volunteer at Condell Hospital for many years. He was a die-hard sports fan, avid snowmobiler, and loved playing cards. Most important in his life was his family as he cherished attending all of his children’s and grandchildren’s school and sporting events.
